Who is GivGuard?

GiveGuard is a 501(c)(3) donor advised fund (DAF) fully recognized by the IRS (click here to download our IRS exemption letter). GivGuard processes your donation when you use Generous, thereby providing the ability for you to donate to virtually any charity. So for example, if you donated to a local food bank using Generous, your donation would be deposited with GivGuard Charitable, first and then GivGuard would distribute your donation to your local food bank, and GivGuard would appear on your tax receipt.
